Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016
Disability Act, 2016:
The Rights of Persons with Disability Act, 2016, has replaced the existing PwD act 1995, which was enacted 21 years ago. The number of disabilities covered under this has increased from 7 to 21:

- Hearing Impairment (deaf and hard of hearing)
- Locomotor Disability
